We are thrilled to finally share a glimpse of our first international collaboration! We were commissioned to handle the design and oversee the renovation and material curation for a new Filipino café concept in Sydney, Australia.
Our vision together with the owners, was to transform this compact space into an intimate sanctuary that evokes the nostalgic warmth of a classic Filipino household. We wrapped the interiors in rich, warm wood paneling to ground the space in comfort, pairing the moody lighting with custom open shelving designed to showcase a curated collection of Philippine memorabilia, local coffee artifacts, and vintage trinkets. To balance the rich timber textures, we opted for a deep burgundy accent on the ceiling to enhance the cafe's cozy vibe.
Seeing our design concepts seamlessly materialize into a bustling new spot in Australia is an incredibly rewarding milestone for our studio.
